Vision
The Unconformity grows connective tissue between artists and our local community through creative and social practices to catalyse the regeneration and renewal of a turbulent region whose landscape– physical, economic and cultural – is highly affected and rapidly changing.
We observe, converse, experiment, create, evaluate and iterate, and may do so to the point that our ultimate evolution may be an eventual redundancy in a local cultural ecosystem so self-resourced that we're no longer needed: a blueprint for communities elsewhere. A story of bust and boom; not from extraction, exploitation or economic downturn but of a cultural and infrastructural infusion that sustains itself.
