Zoe Scoglio

Zoe Scoglio unites performance, sound, video and installation to create interdisciplinary, site-responsive and participatory work.  With a focus on the connections between the human and geological worlds, her practice explores how the narratives we create about our idea of humanness impact the way we commodify, consume and value the natural world and its resources. Her projects explore possibilities for collective engagement and ceremonial encounters and have been presented in diverse contexts nationally and internationally.

Greenroom Award winning projects include MASS, (Calder Park Raceway, Field Theory, Site is Set 2015) and Shifting Ground (Arts House, 2012). Shifting Ground has since toured to Glasgow and London (2014), Operadagen Rotterdam (2016), and was a winner of MusicTheatreNOW (2016).
