Be Free

Be Free

Be Free is a Melbourne artist who has been presenting art out on the street for 6 years. A central part of Be Free’s art is the freedom associated with night-time missions. This often comes through collaborations with other graffiti writers blending character based street art with text based graffiti. The little girl that keeps popping up is a fun filled character who runs around watering plants, scribbling on walls and makes mess with paint. Be Free’s works can be found on the streets of Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.  Works are also found internationally, in Spain, New Zealand and United States. Be Free has participated in a number of solo and group exhibitions around Australia. Works range from spray paint to linocut paste ups and prints to drawings and collage.

The Unconformity acknowledges the palawa people as the original and traditional custodians of lutruwita/Tasmania. We commit to working respectfully to honour their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this land.
